新作ハンドソーンウェルテッドによる
TACHINO CHIE ‘SIDE GORE’のご紹介です。

ハンドソーンウェルテッドとはソールや中物の取替を可とし、半永久にお召しいただける、産業革命以前から続く手製法です。松脂をすり込んだ糸により手で縫われた丈夫なソールは、足の動きにしなやかに寄り添います。
サイドゴアブーツの始まりは英国王室。(アルバート公は着脱のしやすさ、フィット感に魅了されたそう。)
美しい所作で履きやすい様に、老舗の麻リボンによるプルストラップを前後に備えました。ストラップは着用時は中へ忍ばせます。
外側の革(アッパー)へは、艶やかなブラックのヨーロピアンカーフを、内側の革(ライニング)へは、足触りの良いワインレッドのステアを用いました。
※鮮やかなワインレッドはどうしてですか？と幾度とお尋ねいただきます。2014年英国にいた頃、修行先の靴工房のボスの発した「伝統の赤はポストの赤」という呟きに基づきます。
緻密な縫製、耽美なシルエット、上質なレザーは元より、各々の足形に形を変えるソールは、他にはない心地へと誘います。ソールやヒール、ゴム取替の修理も随時お受けしております。長い人生を共にノーブルに歩んでいただけますと嬉しく思います。
この度、手製靴に関しましては私自身による採寸も行います。
オンラインですぐにお届けという流れから逆行の試みかもしれませんが、
手製靴ならではの、お一人お一人の大切な個性によりフォーカスした新たな取り組みです。紳士淑女の皆様、お一人お一人へ美しいお足元をお届けできますと幸いです。
Hand-saen welted is a pre-industrial method of handcrafting that allows for the replacement of soles and inserts for a semi-permanent wear. The sturdy soles are sewn by hand with threads that have been rubbed with pine resin, and they flex with the movement of the foot.
Side gore boots originated in the British royal family. (Prince Albert was fascinated by the ease of putting on and off and the fit.) To make it easy to put on with beautiful gestures, pull straps made of long-established linen ribbons are attached at the front and back. The straps can be tucked inside when worn. The outer leather is covered with glossy black European calfskin. The leather lining is made of burgundy steer, which is very comfortable to the touch.
